About Jill

With 20+ years in education, Jill Williams understands how students learn, what holds them back, and what it takes to set them up for success. Born in Texas and now based in Berkshire, UK, she brings transatlantic expertise to every student she works with, from the nuances of UCAS to the complexities of the Common App.

Before launching Blue Boar College Counselling, Jill served as College Counselling Coordinator at The Village School, a Nord Anglia IB World School, where she led the university counselling programme and helped the Class of 2026 secure placements at 81 institutions across 27 US states and 6 countries, with over $72 million in scholarships awarded. Prior to that, as Senior Manager of College and Career Readiness at Houston ISD, she oversaw university preparation for more than 2,300 students across six campuses, helping the Class of 2024 secure over $400 million in scholarships and financial support.

Jill holds a Master's in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a B.A. in History from Texas A&M University. She works with students who have a clear vision and those starting from scratch, including those pursuing career-focused pathways, vocational programmes, and non-traditional routes. Whatever the destination, she meets students where they are and helps them move forward with clarity and confidence.
